Heye Puzzle
Heye Verlag was founded in 1962 by Friedrich Wilhelm Heye (1921-1988). The publishing house initially published magazines such as the BMW Journal. In 1964, the first calendar was created with the title "Dumme Sprüche für Gescheite," a promotional gift. The popular "Family Planner" calendar is said to be an invention of the publishing house. Other program items include puzzles and utility books/paper goods. Games were also produced between 1990 and 1995.
Heye - PRINTED FOR YOU are produced individually on customer request using the print-on-demand process. These are jigsaw puzzles which were sold by Heye in the past and are now reproduced on customer request.
The puzzles produced in the Print On-Demand process are minimally different from puzzles that were previously produced in large runs by Heye. The box bottom is unprinted (white) and the box design shows the logo "Heye - PRINTED FOR YOU", but the colors of the puzzle are even brighter and more resistant than in large editions.
